Library Expansion Progress Report
March / April 2004
Although the weather was harsh this winter,
work continued on a steady basis. The area for
the basement was cleared, foundation work began,
and asbestos was abated. With the progress over
the last few months, we anticipate that the
steel structure for the new wing will start
going up in early April. Once this begins, the
project should move forward quickly. We are
scheduled to move into the new wing of the building
in December. At which time the existing building
will be renovated.
As always, we appreciate your patience as we
move toward our goal - the creation of a large,
beautiful, new library we can all be proud of.
