In-person, online and telephone registration for Adult and Young Adult programs for East Islip Library cardholders begins Monday, May 2.
Registration for out of district cardholders begins Friday, May 6.

Super Smash Bros.     (EIY748) Monday, May 16 AND Wednesday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. Grades 6-12 Join us for a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mega-tournament! Beach Scene Mason Jars      (EIY831) Thursday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m. Grades 5-12 Light up your room, patio, or other space with this fun and easy craft.  Join an instructor from Paint Party LI and create a beach scene on a mason jar, complete with beautiful, glowing fairy lights. To register, click here. Take and Make: Rainbow Sprinkle Cake     (EIY832) Pick up beings Monday, June 6 at 9:00 a.m. Link sent via email on Thursday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. Grades 7-12 Make a magical 7-inch, 5-layer cake from scratch!  Learn how to: make each layer a color of the rainbow, buttercream icing, layer it together and cover with sprinkles. Teen Advisory Board     (EIY818) Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. Grades 7-12 Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services.  This is your chance to be heard; let us know what YOU want!  Earn one (1) hour of community service for attending this program. To register, click here. Take and Make: Patriotic Clothespin Wreath     (EIY834) Pick up begins on Monday, June 20 at 9:00 a.m. Grades 7-12 Create a seasonal patriotic wreath to hang anywhere in your home!  Each kit includes written directions, a wreath frame, clothespins, paint, and wooden stars.  Please note: a hot glue or strong hold glue is needed to complete this project. To register, click here. New York State Safe Boating Course     (EIY703) Monday, June 27 (6 p.m.—9 p.m.), Tuesday, June 28 (6 p.m.—9 p.m.), and Wednesday, June 29 (7 p.m.—9 p.m.)  New York State Safe Boating Classes are now mandatory for anyone operating a boat, watercraft or Jet Ski in NY State. The law requires anyone born before Jan. 1, 1983 will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2023 and by 2025 everyone regardless of age MUST have a safe boating certificate.
