Program Registration
You will need your library card to register for all programs. Registration for EIPL card holders begins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1. Out of district patrons can register for programs beginning Monday, November 7.

When registering for a program online, please include your email address in the “notes” field as this is the method in which links are provided to you.

Teen Advisory Board (EIY818) R
Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. Grades 7-12

Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services. This is your chance to be heard; let us know what YOU want! Earn one (1) hour of community service for attending this program.

Take and Make: Autumn Leaf Cookies (EIY852) R
Pick up begins on Monday, November 14 at 9 a.m. Grades 6-12 Make a baker's dozen of colorful and delicious leaf cookies, perfect for the fall season! Each kit contains a QR code to access a pre-recorded tutorial. Please note: this kit does not include butter or eggs. To register for this program, please click here. 

Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub (EIY853) R Thursday, November 17 at 7 p.m. Grades 6-12 Create a luxurious pumpkin spice body scrub using sugar, oil, and real pumpkin spice. After the scrub is made, we’ll decorate the jar to make it look extra festive.  To register for this program, please click here.

Gingerbread House Ornament (EIY854) R Monday, December 5 at 7 p.m. Grades 6-12 Paint a wintery gingerbread house scene onto a terracotta pot to make a festive ornament or table decoration for the holidays.

Take and Make: Mini Hot Chocolate Cookie Cups (EIY855) R
Pick-up begins Tuesday, December 6 Grades 6-12 What’s better than hot chocolate and cookies? A hot chocolate cookie cup! Create three adorable treats. Each kit contains a QR code to access a pre-recorded tutorial.

Holiday Floral Workshop (EIY704) R Saturday, December 17 at 10:45 a.m. Grades 7-12 Create a festive arrangement using an array of fresh flowers to enjoy during the holiday season. TeenToy Paramedics (EIY857) R Thursday, December 29 at 11 a.m. Grades 7-12 Volunteer to help us keep the library’s toddler playtime toys clean and in tip-top shape. Participants will earn one (1) hour of community service for this opportunity.

Volunteer Opportunities

Registration begins Tuesday, November 1 at 9 a.m. and is for EIPL cardholders only. You may register for volunteer opportunities in person or by phone.

Book Reviews: Read an approved title and write a detailed book review. Specific instructions, including book approval process and the book review submission, are on the teen blog. Earn three (3) hours of community service per book, up to nine (9) hours per month.

Kindness Rocks: Paint or draw designs and hopeful, inspirational words on to rocks you find in your yard.
Place rocks where people might see them around the neighborhood.
Earn one (1) hour of community service for a maximum of four (4) rocks.

Polar Express Party Volunteers (EIY727): Thursday, December 15 at 4:30 p.m. Volunteers will help children celebrate the classic book. Earn one (1) hour of community service for this opportunity. For grades 7-12.

Floral Workshop Volunteers (EIY856): Saturday, December 17 at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers will help children craft a floral arrangement for the holidays.
Earn one (1) hour of service for this opportunity. For grades 7-12.

Teen Toy Paramedics (EIY857): Thursday, December 29 at 11 a.m.
Earn one (1) hour of community service for this opportunity. For grades 7-12.

Please note: If you are submitting a review for a community service requirement such as National Honor Society, religion, or for college applications, please submit well in advance of your deadline. We cannot guarantee that reviews or community service material will be read the night before required hours are due. Letters and/or certificates are typically sent out within three to five business days after submission.
