Program Registration
You will need your library card to register for all programs. Registration for EIPL card holders begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 1st, unless otherwise noted. Out of district patrons can register for programs beginning
Monday, November 8th.

Young Adult Programs 

Take & Make: Prompted Journal Kits (EIY825)
Pick up begins Monday, January 3 
Grades 7-12 

New year, new hobby!  Pick up a blank journal, pack of pens, and list of prompts to complete each week throughout the New Year!  Journal kits will be available on Monday, January 3 while supplies last.  For East Islip Public Library cardholders only.  To register for this program, click here. 

Pick up begins Monday, January 10, completed packets must be handed in by Monday, January 31 to receive credit
Grades 7-12

Reflect on aspects of your digital life by learning about digital privacy, digital security, digital wellbeing, misinformation, and ways to take control of your technology. Pick up a packet at the Reference Desk starting Monday, January 3. By completing this packet, you can earn three (3) hours of community service. To receive credit, packets must be submitted by Monday, January 31. For East Islip Public Library cardholders only.

DIY Galaxy Jars      (EIY827) 

Thursday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. 
Grades 7-12 
Using different paint, shiny glitter, and fluffy cotton balls, you can create your very own galaxy in a jar!  This project could get messy, so please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!  To register for this program, please click here.  

Love Monsters Cupcake Workshop     (EIY828) 
Thursday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m.  
Grades 7-12 Decorate these adorable love monsters using pastry bags, buttercream icing, and fondant.  Each teen will walk away with three delicious monster cupcakes. To register for this program, click here. 
Valentine’s Day Luminaries     (EIY829) 
Tuesday, February 8 at 7:00 p.m.  
Grades 7-12 
Whether it’s a celebration of Valentine’s Day theme or an anti-Valentine’s day motif, create a beautiful luminary with tissue paper, electronic tea lights, and mason jars.  To register for this program, click here

Teen Advisory Board     (EIY818) Thursday, February 17 Grades 7-12 Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services.  This is your chance to be heard; let us know what YOU want!  Earn one (1) hour of community service for attending this program.  To register for this program, please click here
