The Parents' and Children's Services Department of the East Islip Public Library houses an ever expanding Teachers' Collection (TC). This collection contains books and magazines to help teachers with a variety of subjects for preschool age students through sixth graders. Books focus on subjects ranging from classroom discipline to the New York State Learning Standards and everything in between. Most books circulate for a full twenty-eight days; a limited number of titles are reference. Resources in our Parent Collection may be of value as well. Non-fiction videos on a variety of topics are also available.
