PLAY HOORAY FALL FAMILY FUN - EIJ476 Play with maracas, drums, balls and so much more. This delightful music and movement class will have everyone dancing and marching with a harvest of fun! SUPER SMASH BROS. – EIJ536 Whether it’s your first time or you’re a master of combat, join us to play the brand new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch! STORY PLAY TIME – EIJ464 We’ll explore books through music, movement and play! CANDY CORN PUPPETS STORY & CRAFT TIME - EIJ483
What is sweet and colorful and will make you smile? Its candy corn puppets that are just in time for Halloween! TIME FOR TWOS – EIJ406 Enjoy stories, songs, and an art activity with your child. CHESS LESSONS – EIJ414 If you’ve wanted to learn how to play chess, here’s your chance. Teen volunteers will guide students as they play with each other to learn the basics of the game. READ TO THE DOGS – EIJ578 Students practice their reading skills and gain confidence by reading aloud to a trained Therapy Dog. Dogs and their handlers are registered with Therapy Dogs International. Student readers can sign up for a 20-minute session when they come to the Children’s Desk to register. MORE THAN MOTHER GOOSE – EIJ403 More than Mother Goose for children includes nursery rhymes, songs, finger plays, and stories. Parents participate with their child. Older siblings welcome. This program will be offered at two times. Please select the date that is most convenient. MONSTER MASH STORY WALK– EIJ459 It’s that special time of year where spooky monsters come out to dance and play the Monster Mash. So bring your dancing shoes and join us for a monsteriffic story time outside in our Discovery Backyard. Afterwards all are welcome to stretch your legs and get your wiggles out while exploring our outside nature classroom. Just a reminder this program will start in the Children's Program Room and end in the Discovery Backyard, weather permitting! SCHOOL OF ROCK: DRUMMING - EIJ425 Music fans, come learn early drumming techniques and rhythms! We’re providing the drum sticks, practice pads and a variety of other percussion items. No experience required, just bring your enthusiasm and drumming curiosity! A MUDDY DISCOVERY SATURDAY – EIJ461 Join us for some messy fun in our Discovery Backyard. We are going to use mud to get down and dirty while creating crafts so be sure to dress for a mess. Families can stop by any time between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. to create an art project while exploring nature in the Discovery Backyard. PUMPKIN PATCH BROWNIES - EIJ550 Join Chef Rob to create brownies, pumpkin picking style! After your delicious creations, play Halloween 4 Corners! MINECRAFT MANIA - EIJ560 Do you think you have what it takes to be the next master architect? Join our Minecraft building tournament to show off your skills. BABY SMART - EIJ408 This half hour program is designed to introduce babies, ages birth- 17 months, with a caregiver, to the wonderful world of library programs! Activities include music, movement, finger plays, fine and gross motor development and circle time. Early literacy, socialization and group play skills are introduced. HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN - EIJ630 Come join A Time for Kids, Inc. in this fun and fast- paced preschool readiness program designed to get you in Halloween spirit. Activities include music, movement, fine and gross motor development as well as story telling. There will also be a fun pumpkin craft! THE SECRET LIFE OF MONEY - EIJ463 Join us as we go on a money adventure. In this exciting story/craft program, you'll even get to take some money home with you. Unfortunately, no real money will be used in this program. THE GREAT GIVEBACK - EIJ484 Join us as we participate in Suffolk County’s The Great Give Back, a day of sharing meaningful, service-oriented experiences. Students will create autumn door hangers to be donated to the residents at Momentum. SIMPLY DELICIOUS CHICKEN CUTLETS AND NUGGETS - EIJ575 Delicious, succulent and easy to prepare chicken nuggets and cutlets like you’ve never had before. From start to finish, Chef Dell’Amore shows you how to serve up a meal for the ages, in half the time!Served with pasta and a homemade red sauce. Wii TOURNAMENT - EIY748 Enter the action-packed arena of Super Smash Brothers Brawl or Mario Kart to pit famous Nintendo characters like Mario and Link against each other. Play with friends as you vie for the throne! HALLOWEEN PARTY Dress for a mess and join us for an hour of Halloween-inspired games and crafts!

A-MAZING MAKERSPACE NIGHT – EIJ636 Create and explore a child-sized autumn maze. MONSTERS AND MORE - EIJ469 Join Miss Gina to craft your own Halloween-inspired creatures! PUMPKIN PAINT PARTY - EIJ629 Paint a wood pumpkin with Miss Melissa! Choose to create a face (funny or scary!), add an accessory or keep it simply rustic. SLIGHTLY SPOOKY STORY TIME – EIJ579 Halloween tales are not so frightful - actually they’re delightful! HALLOWEEN CIRCLE TIME - EIJ441 Two and three year olds come in costume with an adult to join Kathy Roeder for this special circle time.
