A VERY HOPPY STORY AND CRAFT - EIJ614 Hop on down to the children's room where we can croak about frog stories and craft a friendly frog puppet. MORE THAN MOTHER GOOSE – EIJ403 More than Mother Goose for children includes nursery rhymes, songs, finger plays, and stories. Parents participate with their child. Older siblings welcome. This program will be offered at two times. Please select the date that is most convenient. DIY PLAYDOUGH - EIJ519 Playdough play is fun for all. Join us as we make our very own playdough. Afterwards, use your imagination and our tools to create your own playdough masterpiece to take home! (This is a flour-based dough) Dress for a mess. You and your child(ren) will create and build with giant, lightweight blue blocks. I SURVIVED! SPRING FLING: DISCOVERY BACKYARD ANNUAL OPENING EVENT – EIJ449 Spring is in the air and the Discovery Backyard is once again open for the season. Join us as we celebrate the return of the warm weather and explore nature together. There will be a ton of nature activities for the entire family to enjoy and a visit from the Suffolk County Farm animals MINECRAFT MANIA - EIJ560 Do you think you have what it takes to be the next master architect? Join our Minecraft building tournament to show off your skills. READ TO THE DOGS – EIJ578 Students practice their reading skills and gain confidence by reading aloud to a trained Therapy Dog. Dogs and their handlers are registered with either Pet Partners or Therapy Dogs International. Student readers can sign up for a 20-minute session when they come to the Children’s Desk to register. FROGGY STORY TIME – EI639 If you're hoppy and you know it, this is a great time to show it while we share stories, songs and more.
