A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD PRESIDENT:
As the Library Board President, I am thrilled to reflect on the past year and celebrate its tremendous success. Our library has truly been a hub of activity, with an astounding 23,000 people attending our diverse range of programs and events. The introduction of our new maker lab has been nothing short of transformative, providing a haven for creativity and innovation. Our digital collection has flourished, as evidenced by the remarkable 60,000 downloads of ebooks and audiobooks, offering a world of literature at our patrons' fingertips. Simultaneously, our physical materials have remained in high demand, with more than 80,000 checkouts. Furthermore, we took pride in offering over 1,500 free and discounted museum tickets, expanding access to the arts and culture. The culmination of these achievements is reflected in our staggering library visit count, with 80,000 individuals seeking knowledge, inspiration, and community within our walls. This incredible success is a testament to the dedicated efforts of our staff, administration, and fellow board members and the unwavering support from our community. We hope you visit the library on Thursday, April 4, and vote on the proposed budget and board candidates.
Sincerely,
Joseph Gabriel
